Back to International Activity

The OECD Economic Policy Committee (EPC) works in close coordination with the OECD Economic Department and is responsible for monitoring the economic policies of Member States and for macroeconomic and structural analyses. The EPC is different from the EPC Economic and Development Review Committee (EDRC) in that it is based on a multilateral approach (multilateral surveillance vs country-specific surveillance). The EPC addresses current key macroeconomic issues: economic growth, labour market, pension systems, public finance. Every six months macroeconomic forecast data and in-depth studies into specific topics debated in the relevant working groups (WP1 and WP3) are discussed by the Committeee and then published.
