Summit on privatization of Poste Italiane held at MEF

A summit on the process of privatization of Poste Italiane was held at the Ministry of Economy on January 28th , 2015.
The Managing Director of Poste Italiane Francesco Caio, the Director General of the Treasury Vincenzo La Via, the Head of the Minister’s technical secretariat Fabrizio Pagani, and the financial advisors of the Treasury and Poste took part in it.
Caio outlined the five-year development plan of the company recently approved by the Board of Directors, focusing specifically on goals, timeline and necessary steps to proceed with the listing of the company, confirming the 2015 target. In the coming weeks the advisors will carry on the preparatory work, together with the consortium of global coordinators also, for the definition of the required measures.
