The Public Debt Directorate announced yesterday, as already mentioned in the 2019 Guidelines, a new fixed rate multi-tranche issue in USD, SEC-Registered Global format.
It is the first time since September 2010 that Italy returns to issuing on the American market and it does so with securities with maturities of 5, 10 and 30 years.
The mandate as lead manager of the placement has been entrusted to Barclays Bank PLC, HSBC Bank PLC and J.P. Morgan Securities PLC.
The issue will be launched in the near future, subject to market conditions.
Communication of the results of the operation will be made according to the official channels of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and also published on this website.
