The Department of the Treasury announces that on December 16, 2020, a buyback competitive auction of Government bonds will take place at the Bank of Italy. Only “Specialists in Government Bonds” will be allowed to participate in the buyback auction.

The cash surpluses available on the Treasury Account held by the Italian Treasury at the Bank of Italy will be used for this operation.

The transaction will be settled on December 16, 2020.
