Coordination of activities to support the institutional functions of the Director General of the Treasury. Coordination of institutional affairs and relations with the offices providing direct support to the Minister and the public administration in general. Coordination and liaison with the directorates, services and offices of the Department for the support of the institutional activities of the Director General of the Treasury. Coordination of the flow of documents between the Director General of the Treasury and the Department, the Minister and the bodies providing direct cooperation. Coordination and management of the complex secretariat tasks of the Director General of the Treasury. Handling of confidential matters on behalf of the Director General of the Treasury.

Office for Strategic Planning and Management Control

Coordination of the Department's strategic and operational planning process. Coordination of the process for identifying the Department's needs in terms of operating expenses. Coordination of the activities for the preparation and management of the economic and financial budget, as well as management of accounting and budgetary processes. Management of the models for the enhancement of the strategic and operational objectives of the departmental structures and of the related performance indicators. Coordination of the process for drafting programming documents in the various stages of the budgeting/forecasting/accounting process. Monitoring of the trend of available funds and management, in the event of non-coverage of needs, of activities aimed at replenishing the allocated resources. Management of administrative activities related to the Department's expenditure accounts. Development and management of the operational, managerial and institutional reporting system. Definition and updating of the Department's value chain. Analysis of results and performance.

Office for Departmental Innovation and Informatics

Definition, development and management of information and technology systems, of infrastructures and of all IT resources of the Department. Definition and implementation of IT methods and solutions for the enhancement of the Department's information assets. Planning, implementation and promotion of the Department's technological and organisational innovation initiatives. Identification and management of projects funded with European resources aimed at developing the Department's information and technology systems. Governance and implementation of the Department's digital transition process. Management of the laboratory for the testing, analysis and certification of new technologies to support the core processes of the Department. Management of the departmental website, databases, infoproviders and user services, including audio and video conferences and support for the use of computer applications. Computer security and departmental support to the Cert (Computer emergency response team) of the Ministry.

Office for the Coordination of Administrative Activity to support the Director General of the Treasury

Support to the Director General of the Treasury for the coordination of administrative activity between departmental structures and between the Department and the offices collaborating directly with the Minister. Handling of relations with the Legislative Office: coordination of pre-legislative activity carried out during the parliamentary process and of activities related to the preparatory meetings of the Council of Ministers. Coordination of activities and preparation of draft measures relating to organisational changes in the Department. Monitoring of administrative processes. Coordination of departmental activities aimed at the prevention of corruption and monitoring of related compliance; liaison with the Support Group of the Manager for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency. Coordination of the flow of documents and of the computer protocol within the Department and between the Department and other administrations and bodies. Secretariat of the Technical-scientific board of Experts.

Office coordinating the Management of Human and Instrumental Resources

Management and coordination of the main administrative functions transversal to the structures of the Department and of the processes for the management of human resources, in cooperation with the Department of General Administration, Personnel and Services, in the following areas: management positions, personnel mobility, evaluation of the performance of managers and staff, departmental personnel, personnel training, preliminary investigation for granting the authorisation to carry out external assignments to Department personnel. Collaboration within the area of responsibility with the Department of General Administration, Personnel and Services on the implementation of agile working at departmental level. Support to the Department of General Administration, Personnel and Services during negotiations with trade unions on matters of interest to the Department and in relation to recruitment procedures and to initiatives for professional growth and organisational wellbeing. Definition of the Department's needs in terms of instrumental resources and assessment of the level of service in the areas of competence. Coordination of activities related to the protection of personal data relevant to the Department.
