Additional 10 Billion Euros to support SMEs
The Board of Directors of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) increased the support to Italian SMEs access to credit by providing a new plafond amounting to ten billion euros. The plafond is provided to those Banks financing SMEs. The previous eight billion euros plafond created in 2009 has been fully allocated. The new resources will finance SMEs investments and working capital (eight billion euros) and address the problem of delays in Public Administration payments to SMEs (two billion euros).
Considering the new resources, CDP support for the Italian SMEs is remarkable amounting to 18 billion euros since 2009.
